Language level B1 is the third level of proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The aim of this learning stage is the ability to speak.

You should have B1 level knowledge in order to get by in daily activities in Germany. "Goethe Zertifikat Deutsch / Telc Deutsch B1" is recognized as the proof of the language required for applying for German citizenship.

Active Participation	Mute when Not Speaking
Engage in class activities, discussions, and exercises. Speak up, ask questions, and contribute to group work.	Keep your microphone muted when not speaking to minimize background noise.
Camera On (When Possible)	Stay Focused
Keep your camera on to maintain focus and create a more interactive and engaging environment.	Avoid distractions during class (e.g., browsing the internet, using social media). Stay engaged and on task.
Respect and Courtesy	Effort and Engagement:
Treat your instructor and classmates with kindness and respect at all times. Listen when others are speaking, and allow everyone to share their thoughts.	Give your best effort in all tasks, whether it's speaking, writing, or listening. Always strive to improve and help others do the same.
Ask for Help When Needed	Language Use
If you don't understand something, ask questions! Our goal is to support your learning every step of the way.	Try to use German as much as possible in the classroom. Don’t worry about making mistakes practice is key to improvement.
